Mihail Florin Gavrila

Founder of Tax Heaven

Mihail Florin Gavrila is the founder of Tax Heaven, a research and comparison project for people considering an international move. He is a Solicitor–Advocate (Higher Rights — Criminal Proceedings) and a Notary Public in England and Wales.

Tax Heaven brings together three separate questions: where you may live, how you may be taxed and which citizenship rights you may hold. Its purpose is to help readers understand the options and prepare informed questions for appropriately qualified advisers.

The principles behind Tax Heaven

Useful research makes the conditions visible. A residence permit does not by itself establish tax residence. A second citizenship does not by itself end UK tax exposure. Tax Heaven presents these questions separately, with links to sources and the date the information was checked.

Country comparisons are a starting point for further investigation. Eligibility, family circumstances, ongoing costs, time spent in a country and obligations that continue after leaving the UK all need individual consideration.

Research and professional practice

The website’s country profiles are general research, not personal tax, legal, immigration or investment advice. A founder biography does not mean that each country profile has received an individual professional review. Any professional engagement would need its own scope, terms and appropriate adviser.
